Ain't Misbehavin'
Episode #: 140
Airdate: July 4, 1997
TiVo Synopsis: JT becomes jealous when he learns Sam's new roommate is her male co-worker.

In this episode: Carol and Frank have big plans to go away for the weekend to "Hot Tub Heaven" because Carol's neck is out of whack. But when Balki comes to them with money woes they decided to take the THOUSAND BUCKS they had set aside (yeah it costs 1000 bucks to go to Hot Tub Heaven, doesn't it cost not much more than that to get your own hot tub?) and lend it to Balki to help him pay his taxes. Balki instantly begins spending it on luxury items for his lady friend BABETTE (who is never seen, just spoken of. Too bad because with a name like Babette she’s gotta be va-va-va-voom amirght?). Balki then wins 1000 bucks on a scratch-off ticket and instead of pay Carol and Frank back decides to take Babette to HOT TUB HEAVEN. Eventually Carol yells at him and he apologizes and lets them take the trip to Hot Tub Heaven instead.

As lame and low-rent as a place like that sounds (I guess it's just a shitload of rentable hot tubs I guess?) there actually are places like this. When driving out of or into Eureka I'd constantly see a billboard advertising such a place. My friend Andrew actually was dragged along to it with friends, and he didn't even go in, that's how gross it looked. I think he just waited in the car.

JT's bro girlfriend has her doofy hunk co-worker move in to her apartment as a roommate. He's basically like a stereotypical HOT DUDE, the kind you'd see on a greeting card. JT of course is insecure as shit that this lame uninteresting (but HUNKY) dude is going to steal his dumb-voiced girlfriend. I'm sick of sitcom logic where people are threatened or enticed by SEXY HOT boring people who have nothing else going for them. JT and Sam (his dumb-voiced girlfriend) fight over it in a predictable way, and it all culminates in JT smashing the door down to Sam's apartment when he thinks he hears them goofing around. Goofing? Messing around, I guess is what I meant to say. It's actually the hunky dude and HIS girlfriend, who turns out is not cool with this guy living with a GIRL, so he's moving out soon.

Mark Watch: Mark enters to ask what's going on, says something gay like "marital strife? I'm not getting involved!" and then goes back upstairs to go fuck himself.

Lily Watch: Lily appears in the opening titles and nowhere else.

The End: The co-worker has moved out of Sam's apartment, and JT spontaneously drops by with pizza (who does this?) but she's going out to a bachelorette party, where she's going to a male strip club. JT says "WELL IF YOU'RE GONNA DO THAT I GUESS YOU WOULDN'T MIND IF I WENT TO THE BOOM BOOM ROOM TONIGHT TO LOOK AT A BUNCH OF HALF NAKED STRIPPERS?" She tries to call his bluff, but she decides not to go out (JT keeps his girlfriend from going to her friend's bachelorette party, what a jerk). They decide to stay in and watch TV. JT instantly takes control of the remote control even though it's her apartment. This enrages me, but nothing is made of it in the episode.
