Dear Sir or Madam, Hello, I would like to inquire about your “Charmin Ultra Bathroom Tissue”. I have absolutely no idea of what to do with this product. I purchased a 24 pack of the “Single Roll” variety, bar code number 0 37000 35068 2. I searched all over the packaging, and I was unable to find any directions. I have figured out that the product being “Bathroom Tissue”, that is has something to do with the bathroom. However, the tissue part escapes me. Is it some sort of facial tissue, which is placed in the bathroom, so one can clear one’s nose privately? Is it just for show, some sort of decorative ornament? The name does resemble the word “charming”, and charming decorative ornaments are nice. The packaging advertises quite strongly that “Charmin Ultra Bathroom Tissue” is “Softer and thicker than ever”. Perhaps this is some sort of pillow? Pillows are best soft and thick. I did notice that on the package, the baby has his head lying on what appears to be a roll of “Charmin Ultra Bathroom Tissue”. I have visited your website for “Charmin Ultra Bathroom Tissue” at http://www.charmin.com but I was unable to find directions for the product’s usage. I did notice that the website has the following (and this is a direct quote): Is it perhaps some sort of small towel, used for drying oneself after bathing? Its name does imply that it’s used in the bathroom, towels are most often used in the bathroom, and towels are best when absorbent. Also, bathing is usually done to cleanse oneself, so the “comfy clean” makes sense. Could this be some sort of blanket, for a very small child? Blankets as such are best soft and cushiony. I have tested these uses of “Charmin Ultra Bathroom Tissue”; however, none of these seem like the “right” way of using it. When I used it to clear my nose, it worked satisfactorily, but it was a bit rough, unlike the facial tissues I use most of the time. I tried it for show, but it didn’t seem to be a very nice decorative piece. I attempted to sleep in my bathroom, using a few rolls in place of a normal pillow, but not only was the bathroom uncomfortable to sleep in; the rolls of bathroom tissue were dreadful pillows. I tried using the bathroom tissue to dry myself after showering, but the 4.5” by 4.0” squares made it somewhat difficult, also, the bathroom tissue seemed to dissolve quickly after getting wet. This made it even harder to dry myself, requiring several complete rolls to do so sufficiently. I was unable to try out the blanket for a very small child, as I did not have a small child at my disposal at the time. Also, it seems a bit absurd that blankets would be sold in such quantity. So, I would like to have sent to me some sort of instructions, or informational pamphlet (with pictures if possible) that will explain to me the proper usage of “Charmin Ultra Bathroom Tissue”. You may send this to the following address: Andrew Chiong Perhaps in the future, you should put some sort of instructions on the packaging, or include a pamphlet showing one what to do with the product, rather than naming it ambiguously as such, and simply leaving its usage to the imagination. Thank you in advance, Andrew Chiong |
